mux

A multiplexer: its output is whichever data input its select lines choose. The data inputs are d0, d1, … on its back, numbered from the top and marked inside the symbol; the select line is select (or s0) and enters its side, with s1 on the other side for a 4-to-1. A wire names the port it lands on after the id, wire(from: #s; to: #m.select); a wire that names none takes the next free data input. With a select line unknown, the output is still known when every input it might be choosing agrees.
