Most Internote issues fall into a few categories: the wrong account, missing access, stale page state, or content that needs to be recompiled.
Content Is Missing
- Check that you are signed in
- Check that you are using the email address the owner shared with
- Open your Library and look in Shared with me
- Refresh the page if the content was shared very recently
A Map Node Is Locked
Locked nodes usually mean the map expects you to complete earlier content first. Follow the connected path backwards until you find the unlocked prerequisite.
An Internote Looks Outdated
- Refresh the page
- Ask the owner whether they have published or synced their latest changes
- If the internote uses partials, check that included
.part.chalk files are present - If it comes from Git, confirm the watched branch and path are correct
The Editor Shows an Error
- Check that the document header is present
- Check matching braces, brackets, and parentheses
- Check that any
@include references point to existing .part.chalk files - Remove the last change and preview again to narrow down the issue
