Understand public content, private content, shared access, and reports
Internote has different visibility and sharing contexts. The most important distinction is whether content is public, private to its owner, or shared with specific people.
Public internotes and maps can be viewed by people who can access their public page. Use public visibility only when the content is intended for a broad audience.
Private content is limited to its owner unless it is shared. If you cannot open private content, the owner may need to update sharing settings.
Shared internotes and maps appear in the recipient's library, usually under Shared with me. Shared access is tied to the account email, so make sure recipients use the email address that was invited.
If you see content that looks unsafe, abusive, misleading, or inappropriate, use the report option where available. Reports help the team review content against Internote's policies.
