Update your profile, avatar, subjects, password, and account settings
Preferences is where you manage the account details Internote uses across the app. Open it from your Library or go directly to /preferences.
The Profile section lets you update visible account details such as your name, display name, country, date of birth, subjects, and avatar.
Use a display name that classmates, educators, or collaborators can recognise. If your profile appears beside public content, choose an avatar and name you are comfortable showing.
Use the password section when you want to change your sign-in password. Choose a password you do not use for other services.
The Delete Account section is for permanent account removal. Treat it carefully: deleting an account can remove access to your library, preferences, and account-owned content.
Before deleting an account, export or copy anything you still need and check whether collaborators rely on content you own.
The Data & Privacy section links account-level privacy controls and information. Use it when you want to review how account data is handled or where policy documents live.
Developer Settings are for features such as API or platform integrations when they are available to your account. Most users do not need to change these settings.
