Addressed

How a publisher says which environment it is speaking for: the environment's context, its identity, or its store key.

The bare key is there for the marks. A mark deep inside a surface's tree is handed its environment's key as a prop, and threading the whole identity down to it would be ceremony for a value the channel is already keyed by.
